Realizing I'mPerfect - and so are you!

So if I have a blog called I’mPerfect, are people going to think I’ve got some kind of complex? That I think I’m all that and a bag of chips, holier than thou and so on. . . although, I am kind of a big deal. . . the truth is SO ARE YOU!!!

If you only knew how powerful you really are, you would be shocked and amazed.

My desire and motivation for this blog is to share with you lessons learned on my own personal journey from devastation to dignity.

I’m here to share how I changed the way I looked at things.

When we change the way we look at things the things we look at change
— Wayne Dyer

I will admit it. I am kind of a perfectionist. (understatement) I like things a certain way.

I have a history of following all the rules, being a good girl and not rocking the boat. I’ve been a compulsive straight A student, I did everything I thought I was supposed to do.

I graduated college, had a good job, got married, bought a house, started a family, and took care of everyone else, often at my own expense. Yet after 10 years of living this reality, I ended up feeling devastated, hopeless and completely lost.

So I started paying more attention to myself.

I started asking different questions. . . What was important to me? What was I feeling? What did I really want?

And so here is the answer. This Blog!

I am not writing to convince you of anything. . . Every choice you make is your own. So you can see me as imperfect (trust me I've got my flaws flaws flaws) or I'm Perfect (the hidden Truth), or maybe some of both. I have come to believe that imperfect and I'm perfect are actually one and the same.

Finally I am confident enough (which actually I'm means vulnerable enough) to share with you who I am, and what I've learned.

There are 2 things I know for sure:

  1. We are more alike than we are different.
  2. You are more powerful than you realize.

So let's start this conversation. . .
